the season's first snow!

It was nothing short of a miracle. After weeks of 40 degree weather, and TONS of rain, my Christmas spirit was a bit low. We were well into December, and yet to see a single flake.

And then, wouldn't you know it, the day I was scheduled to photograph these cousin cuties... down it came! It was like their boisterous and fun little spirits made it happen!

I had such fun with these five cousins. They all had a personality and spunk of their own!

AND... this photo session just goes to prove that outdoor, natural light photography CAN still happen in the winter. I think the snow made for some beautiful and festive shots. See what you think...

Erin... you are brilliant! I had such fun during our session, and I love how your sneak peek turned out. I had to share them here.

This girl is not only beautiful, but smart too! She LOVES her classes... especially history and psychology. She will most definitely be going places.

She said her friends call her "Business Barbie". I see where they're coming from. What a compliment. :)

I truly love how this photo session turned out! Mama Stephanie did an excellent  job with choosing vibrant {yet still fall-esque} colors for her family to wear. I love how they play against the natural vibrancy of the fall leaves.

And not to mention... how cute are these kids!? Chloe, Isaiah and Shiloh are about as cute {and well-behaved} as they come! Total naturals.
